With a new store in Soho New York and a four-floors flagship on London’s New Bond Street, Simon Porte Jacquemus himself might take one look at rising model Alex Consani’s images from the Jacquemus Holiday 2024 Campaign [IG] and say “I’ll have whatever she’s having.”

That would be a bit of rest and relaxation over the holidays, which is great idea for the designer and his family. Unless a new minority investor steps into the light of the Jacquemus lamp burning brightly far and wide on both sides of the Atlantic these days. Then it’s no rest for Jacquemus, the founder and designer of his eponymous label, who was awarded the 2024 Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion with the arrival of last September’s New York fashion week.

Riding a wave of prudent business expansion, tempered now by headwinds in the luxury brand market, the designer has admitted he needs a minority investor for the next phase of his business plan. It seems that he deserves one, based on all he has accomplished flying solo until now.
