Mariacarla Boscono and Olympic pole vaulter Claudio Stecchi fell in love the old-fashioned way. With Boscono in New York and her future husband moving between Florence and Rome — and both parties on the move constantly for work — they wrote to each other a lot.

Mutally aware of their superb chemistry, a six-hour chat was an early clue that a magic-filled connection was being forged between two beautiful humans.

The nuptial ceremony on Saturday, October 5 in Bagheria, a small city in Sicily at the Villa Valguarnera. Officiating at the ceremony was Natalia Vodianova, a close friend of the couple. AOC will post more images of the wedding, but D Style has a good offering here.
