Naomi Watts Talks Menopause and Stripes in ELLE France Fashion Lensed by Juankr

British actor Naomi Watts, with 90 films in her portfolio, has a digital cover in the July 27th issue of Elle France. Watts isn’t taking the magazine’s spotlight to speak about her Hollywood career. And she’s not speaking with ELLE France about her June 2023 marriage to long-time love Billy Crudup.

Naomi Watts, now 54, wants to talk about menopause. In detail. In her own words on IG, Watts says “Adding this to the list of things I never thought I’d get to do: Gracing the cover of ELLE France, all while talking about the joys of menopause.”

Watts is styled by Odile Iturraspe in timeless simplicity from Alberta Ferretti, Chanel, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Ferragamo, Prada and more. Juankr [IG] is behind the lens for the fashion shoot also in featured in ELLE Spain. We share select different images at end of post. / Hair by Rebekah Forecast; makeup by Mary Wiles

IAmStripes.com, ka Stripes

Since October 2022, Naomi Watts, the entrepreneur, has launched the Stripes brand, a beauty and well-being center focused on women’s health. Stripes has a specific mission of de-stigmatizing “the sometimes thorny subject of menopause.”

Hot Babes Have Hot Flashes

Stripes has become an extension of Naomi Watts and her life. She continues: “I told myself that if my experience of menopause was difficult, I should not be the only one to suffer from it. I have made it my mission to support other women and change their history. " A mission where humor and naturalness are not lacking, some of the products sold on the site bear deliberately ironic names such as this body milk The Full Monty or the vaginal gel You Sexy Thing... "This year, we will organize events at the Canada, the United Kingdom and other European countries, including Spain. We have work to do.

To create a bit of context, Naomi Watts says reality is that in 2025, one billion women will be in menopause worldwide, at the same time that life expectancy is increasing and for women more than men.

Watts also takes up the topic of men and his reaction to his beloved entering menopause. “You have to ask him: are you ready? Do you know what this is about?”

So we have Naomi Watts taking on the stigma of menopause, and Natalia Vodianova being a UN Population Fund ambassador for menstruation, a taboo topic which continues to haunt women globally.
