Ferguson is very busy with a new Mission Impossible film out this summer and Dune: Part Two arriving in late fall — currently November 3. Ferguson is executive producer on the acclaimed post-apocalyptic series Silo, streaming now on Apple TV+.

She is also in final negotiations to shoot the movie “Best Served Cold” under the direction of Tim Miller. Ferguson will play a legendary mercenary, who is betrayed, rejected and on a quest for revenge. Her personal mission will forever change the nation.

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation

Rebecca Ferguson made her debut in the Mission Impossible series in 2015' ‘Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation’ playing Ilsa Faust, a British intelligence agent who becomes entangled with Ethan Hunt [played by Tom Cruise]and his team.

Ferguson's portrayal of Ilsa was praised by critics and audiences alike, with many citing her as a standout in the film, where she also did all her own stuntwork.

She even did her own stunt works in fight scenes while pregnant.

Ilsa is a complex character who is both an ally and a potential threat to Hunt, adding an extra layer of tension to the already high-stakes plot. Ferguson's performance as Ilsa perfectly captures the character's mix of toughness and vulnerability, making her one of the most memorable additions to the franchise.

Mission: Impossible Fallout

Ferguson returned to the series in ‘Mission: Impossible - Fallout’ [2018], where she once again played a pivotal role in the story as Hunt's former lover and fellow agent.

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning

Presently the Swedish actor has returned in the two-part ‘Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning’, with Part One arriving in theaters on July 12, 2023. Production on Part Two will now be delayed, shut down due to the writer’s strike.

She is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who also worked with the star in ‘Fallout’ and ‘Rogue Nation’.

In her Vogue Hong Kong interview, the actress raised eyebrows with her explanation of how the “Mission Impossible” franchise doesn’t actually use scripts.

Ferguson has been married since 2018 to businessman Rory St. Clair Gainer. They lead a very private life, sharing a home in Richmond, southwest London with a daughter and the actor’s son from her prior relationship with Ludwig Hallberg.
