Canadian model Jessica Stam was honored in early March by Marc Jacobs with his 2023 reissue of the Stam Bag. Stam also booked a major runway presence in the recent fall 2023 show.

Today Stam appears in the pages of Vogue Italia April 2023 in ‘Jessica Abita Qui’[‘Jessica Live Here’], wearing body-con, casual and athletic-life clothes styled by Georgia Pendlebury.

Jessica Stam’s Life Balance

Putting her Union Square apartment on the market last fall [it sold], Stam shared that her filmmaker husband Brahman Turner and their two children under the age of 5 have dug deep roots in Hawaii.

“We fell in love with Hawaii, although I will always consider New York my second home,” Stam said. “I was lucky enough to fly in for jobs and get my New York City fix.”

Going forward, finding a new apartment in New York and basking in bliss in Hawaii are Stam’s two locations of choice.

“We live in a cottage-style house near the ocean, with fruit trees and a big yard that we tend to every day,” said Stam in an interview with her New York realtor. “We are an aquatic family, so being close to the ocean is important. We grow all our vegetables organic and love to cook meals together with food from our land.

I grew up on a farm so it really feels like I’m going back to my roots. . . . Living part-time in Hawaii is a great balance between working in the city and the constant transatlantic travel I’ve come to expect from runway shows. My next apartment [better suited to her now family] will be in the East Village or the West Village, near the river.”
