As a person who truly is an expert on the challenges of self-confidence and embracing one’s self-worth, the Adwoa Aboah the activist says: “There have been many times recently where I’ve had to take stock of all the things in my life that bring me joy. The people around me make me feel beautiful and happy. But it just doesn’t happen overnight. I didn’t wake up one day and be like, “Fuck, I’m fit.” Sometimes I do wake up and I’m like, “Yes, you look amazing.” Then sometimes I’m like, “Ick.” And that’s really fine. I think that’s what’s nice to know. It’s completely fine.”
