Moncler JW Anderson Genius Take2 Adds Econyl® Components Lensed by Alasdair McLellan

Italian luxury brand Moncler’s Genius project continues again for Spring 2021 with a JW Anderson Collab titled ‘A Nomadic Voyage’. The designer continues his exploration of his own northern Irish roots.

The unisex range features a diverse selection of water-travel parkas, long coats, padded vests, color-blocked hoodies, cargo pants and more styled for the campaign by Benjamin Bruno. Models include Grace Clover and Shaden Phillips in photographs by Alasdair McLellan [IG]./ Makeup by Anne Sophie Costa; hair by GAry Gill

Logos from both brands are stacked one on the other on color-blocked hoodies, sweatshirts and knitwear items, all made with patches, pockets and panels of regenerated nylon Econyl®. It might not be popular to make this suggestion, but these products so anchored in nature should be moving into Patagonia territory on the sustainability scale. So applause for the introduction of Econyl®. pieces, but we expect more on the sustainability front. This is a platinum-level project that is very exciting and has longevity. It’s time to get fully dedicated to sustainability
