The Vogue Scandinavia cover is Helena Christensen’s 18th Vogue cover, shot at her lovely seaside home in Copenhagen. Peter Lindbergh shot the fresh-faced Danish model for her first-ever Vogue cover — also on a beach — 31 years ago. We all miss Lindbergh’s lens and his true love of women.

Of course, Helena is now a photographer herself, mixing up her life with modeling, photographing other models, her work as UN ambassador and online merchant and via the model’s IG, her promotion of sustainable living.
