Matthieu Blazy takes the Chanel 25 [IG] handbag — okay every version of the Chanel 25 handbag — and puts them in the eager hands of house ambassador Margot Robbie. Michel Gondry’s 2002 music video for Kylie Minogue’s ‘Come Into My World’ adds the magic touch of more Blazy joy from Chanel to us.
It’s contagious as Robbie cruises through a Parisian neighborhood, multiplying into yet more Robbies with yet another version of the Chanel 25 handbag.

Kaia Gerber in Givenchy by Sarah Burton for W Magazine
British designer Sarah Burton is totally honest, speaking with William Middleton for W Magazine [link] two days before her second showing as Givenchy’s creative director.
The interview is part of a Givenchy fashion story ‘Strength and Sensibility’ featuring Burton’s hand-picked, super-femme model and actor Kaia Gerber. Camilla Nickerson styles the fashion shoot lensed by Craig McDean [IG].
Kaia signed on in November to play her mother Cindy Crawford opposite Homer Gere, son of Richard Gere. The new TV show ‘The Shards’ arrives 30 years after Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere's divorce and will play on the FX platform.
“When we think of how to empower a woman, she’s often put in a suit or something constructed, something male,” Burton says. “Instead, I was looking at female iconography and how it can be used to make a woman feel incredibly powerful. I wanted to look at sexuality and sensuality, revealing bits of the body in certain ways.”
Model Jacqui Hooper fronts ‘Mille Miglia’ [a thousand miles], a timely auto-racing fashion story with a retro boho vibe styled by Sissy Vian. The Original Mille Miglia [1927-1957]
The Race: This was a dangerous, high-speed endurance race held on public roads in Italy. The figure-eight shaped course ran from Brescia to Rome and back, covering about 1,000 miles. The race was banned in 1957 following a horrific crash that killed driver Alfonso de Portago, his navigator, and nine spectators.
Legacy: The original race was known for making famous marques like Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz, with legendary drivers like Stirling Moss competing.
In 1977, the Modern 1000 Miglia was reborn. See the details in AOC Fashion.

Among the house of Fendi’s most demanded treasures is the Peekaboo bag, which made its runway debut in 2008 as part of the spring-summer 2009 collection.
Conceived by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the creative mind then and now behind many of Fendi's legendary accessories, this bag was designed with modern women in mind—those who appreciate luxury but also value functionality.
The Spring/Summer 2024 issue of AnOther Magazine [IG] is in ‘reveal mode’. First up in a collection of seven covers, is actor Julianne Moore, wearing Bottega Veneta by Matthew Blazy on the cover.

Today: Julianne Moore in ‘May December’
Julianne Moore plays Gracie in the Todd Haynes-directed film ‘May December’ about a long-married, but once-notorious Savannah, Georgia couple. Gracie, then 36, seduced her husband Joe Yoo, then age 13 and a schoolmate of her son Georgie. Their sexual union resulted in Gracie giving birth in prison.
Tomorrow: Julianne Moore in ‘Mary & George’
2024 sees Moore as the “ruthless bisexual countess Mary Villiers, who rose through snarls of conflicting interests in the English court by engineering her son’s affair with King James I.”
“I’m not an adventure-tales person,” Moore tells AnOther. “I don’t care if they get on a boat and sail across the ocean. I want stories about relationships and families. Human drama.”

Shalom Harlow and Amber Valletta pose up a storm for their Vogue Hong Kong March 2023 cover shoot! This dynamic duo have been steadfast best friends since they met, and come together with such love.
“I think we have evolved in so many ways but to me the biggest [way] has been our ability to forgive one another and come back to our love”, shares Amber. “I think you can see I am a lover of life. I am in love with nature, my pets, friends, family, learning, art, self care, adventuring and being a part of bringing more joy and peace to others.”
Top model Mona Tougaard poses in ‘Work Force’, familiar boss lady looks that many argue are dated and yet . . .
But pussy-bow blouses? Kate Phelan styles Tougaard in sober colors, sartorial tailoring lensed by Craig McDean [IG] for British Vogue’s January 2023 issue.
Vogue definitely got the sex appeal part right. Also pussy-bow blouses can be deceptive in high-stakes negotiations.
British photographer, New York-based Craig McDean [IG] has outdone himself with new images of actor Ana de Armas for AnOther Magazine [IG]. Katie Shillingford styled de Armas in Louis Vuitton for the cover and inside fashion story, adding sensual but casual luxury looks inside.
In an interview with Hannah Lack, How Ana de Armas Became the Most Famous Woman in the World, de Armas discusses playing Marilyn Monroe in Andrew Dominik’s much anticipated adaptation of Joyce Carol Oates’s ‘Blonde’, arriving on Netflix Sept. 28.
The Jezebel review is more vulgar and ‘flip’ than most, but its train of thought is consistent with several others that I just read. I’ll go with the New Yorker review [next paragraph] , because it runs closest to Lack’s interview, which is well worth the read.

OMEGA ambassador since 2017, Kaia Gerber celebrates the luxury watch brand’s updated ‘Constellation’ design. Lensed by Craig McDean [IG]
“From every angle, the differences are clear. Firstly, the iconic claws have been given a slimmer look, while merging gracefully into the bezel and case. The bezels are also more slender, with thinner Roman numerals, or diamond-setting that is compact and flawless,” OMEGA shares.
The entire Crawford-Gerber family represents OMEGA as ambassadors since 2017.
‘The World According To Zendaya’ is British Vogue’s October 2021 cover story. Her close friend Law Roach — Zendaya was his first major client at age 14 and with Roach owning a vintage store in Chicago — chooses sophisticated luxury — lensed by Craig McDean.
The A team arrives in W Magazine’s Fall 2021 issue with model Meghan Collison fronting ‘Retro Never Looked So Modern’. Craig McDean captures stellar imagery with perfect-pitch background colors. Grace Coddington rarely has a bad day; and her luxury label mix “of the chicest clothes of the moment” do indeed “evoke bygone eras without relying on nostalgia.” Bravo!
Hollywood Reporter wrote in September 2016 that Grace Coddington listed the actors who should play her in ‘Grace’, a movie about her life optioned in 2015 by independent production company A24. “In my head, I’d like it to be focused on the early years, so it’s not the me you know, it’s more in the 1970s. It has to be someone quite young, and maybe we haven’t found them yet, because first we have to write the movie, and the movie is a very long winded thing to do, you know. I’ve been talking about it for three, four years now. I love all the young British people like Saoirse [Ronan] and Kiera Knightley and Carey Mulligan, she’s in there,” she added. “I would like it to be a British person and an English director would be great, because I’d like to keep an English sense.

Zara is making a big splash in the beauty business, working with British makeup artist Diane Kendal. Currently living in New York City, Kendal is the beauty product consultant and makeup artist for Marc Jacobs Beauty, and has developed product lines for Calvin Klein Cosmetics. She is also favored by Poenza Schouler, Tory Burch and Tom Ford.
Zara Beauty launched globally last Wednesday with its own beauty-specific in-store presentation. According to Zara beauty director Eva Lopez, the goal for the brand was simple: inclusivity. “Our ambition was to create a collection that anyone, regardless of gender, skin color, age, or personal style will want to use,” she says. “Somebody that wants a classic, softer makeup look can find their products, and somebody that’s more experimental can find the colors they need to create that, too,” continues Kendal, adding “we wanted to appeal to everybody.”
Just to be different, AOC will temporarily forget about Billie Eilish’s stunning new look on the June 2021 cover of British Vogue. We really SAVE the word ‘stunning’ for when we mean it. Goddess give us strength! Talk about a stunning metamorphosis!
