Gisele Bundchen Is Harvard 2011 Global Environmental Citizen

GreenTracker| Gisele Bundchen has been named Harvard’s 2011 Global Environmental Citizen for her continuous efforts on behalf of the environment. The supermodel is currently a Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nation’s Environment Program (UNEP). Gisele is also committed to Seal the Deal, TckTckTck and Billion Tree and she avoids plastic bags at every opportunity.

The ceremony will take place on May 6, followed by a $1,000 a person black-tie soiree at the Harvard Club in New York. All proceeds support Harvard’s Center for Health and the Global Environment.
