May 2014 Bring Self-Love, Self-Understanding, Self-Growth & A Better World

Happy New Year! It seems self-indulgent to greet 2014 with such a wish, but the message sums up my mood totally. This has been a tough and challenging year for me personally — but one in which I have not only survived but soared. I’m ready to party — if only for awhile!

It’s also a core belief at AOC that if we loved ourselves more and for real, we would be better people to humankind as caretakers of our planet and its people. Within this context, it’s my wish for each of us that 2014 is good to us — not with material wealth per se, but with self-understanding, self-growth and self-love.
