Conservative Writer Kevin Williamson's Call For Lynching Women Who Have Abortions Ends Gig At The Atlantic

Large numbers of liberals -- progressives with an open mind -- really do want to hear and read intelligent dissent from the opposition. But when in-the-know folks learned that conservative writer Kevin Williamson had been hired by The Atlantic, there were gasps.

I -- for one -- am not keen to read anti-abortion views calling for the mass lynching of women who have abortions, a public stance Williamson has taken more than once.

Chicago-born actor Laura Harrier, of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)  cites Hilary Banks from 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' as her number-one style influence. "She's a bad bitch, always unapologetically herself and unafraid to stand out and be beautiful," Harrier says in her InStyle interview. 

 “Style is not a formula for me—it’s instinctual,” Harrier tells InStyle. “I know right away if I like something or not.”

Actor Natalie Portman prepares to leave her Paris apartment, returning to LA later this year with husband Benjamin Millepied, who resigned last month from his new job as director of the Paris Opera Ballet. Portman is filming in Paris now, playing Jacqueline Kennedy in a biopic 'Jackie' directed by Pablo Larrain. The film's focus is the four days between President Kennedy's assassination and his funeral. 

Portman is also filming 'Planetarium', a tale of two sisters with an ability to connect with the supernatural. Her current movie 'Jane Got a Gun'is in circulation.
