Webb’s primary source of global inspiration was a near-obsession with studying artifacts and art at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art [Met].

Webb drew inspiration from "the human spirit" and aligned his designs with the cultural changes of the 1960s and 70s, which embraced jewelry that was more “soulful and meaningful”.
