Previously, top model Andreea Diaconu covers the June/July 2025 issue of Numéro 254, wearing Louis Vuitton lensed by Yulia Gorbachenko [IG]. Diaconu is styled by Charles Varenne, and the fashion story is not yet posted.
With Memorial Day celebrating the official start of summer in America this weekend, seeing Diaconu for Numéro summer issue, it’s impossible not to recollect her Vogue Paris sizzling summer stories. They were scorching and a reminder of how significantly fashion has turned down the sexy volume in the last decade. Take a look.
FORMERLY . . . VOGUE PARIS 2013
Andreea Diaconu's Naked Sensuality By Mario Sorrenti For Vogue Paris 2013
In the June/July 2013 issue of then-called Vogue Paris, photographer Mario Sorrenti pulled out all the stops, in a fashion story called ‘Sauvage’. Many of us complained that post-Carine Roitfeld, new EIC Emmanuelle Alt had stripped Vogue Paris of its ‘ooh la la’ sexy factor.
You will agree that the EIC/stylist Alt responded to that criticism and learned to take an occasional walk on the wild side. And today, Emmanuelle Alt is working with Victoria’s Secret to bring back their ‘ooh lala’ factor. Life’s twists and turns are so interesting.
The Vogue Paris summer 2013 ‘Sauvage Story’ is posted in two parts on AOC— with a very racy Andreea Diaconu’s cover shot and editorial [link above] and Anja Rubik’s editorial below. Enjoy!
