Sexual Healing Goddess Anja Rubik by Marcin Kempski for K Magazine AOC Fashion

There’s no person in fashion who has contributed more art imagery to the topic of sexual healing and body positivity — defined as embracing your body with love, including your sexual energy — than supermodel Anja Rubik.

In these images Rubik covers the pages of Poland’s K Magazine [IG], working in concert with Anja’s nonprofit foundation devoted to sexuality. Karolina Gruszecka styled Rubik in artful, modern images by Marcin Kempski [IG]. / Makeup by Marianna Yurkiewicz; hair by Adrian Wlasiuk

We last met up with Anja’s activism when she led voter turnout in last fall’s Polish elections against Poland’s increasingly right-wing government. Anja Rubik, joined by sensible liberals and moderates across Poland, won!

So seriously did young people in Poland take their mission to get rid of the right-wingers, that those who work digitally, or could easily get a job in a new location, or had significant savings, or decided to be poor for a year — all these young pro-democracy Polish citizens — moved to more conservative-voting locations in the country in order to moderate their votes.

Can you imagine this level of non-marching, inconvenient activism in America? I cannot. Our young people are mad at Biden for not delivering enough to them and they just may sit out the election or vote for a third-party candidate. Truth!

Coincidentally, AOC raised this very topic yesterday, when I ‘kidnapped’ Vogue’s new Kendall Jenner cover story to also promote Karlie Kloss’s work to get an abortion referendum on the presidential ballot in Missouri this November.

If the people don’t come to us, I have decided to take the Anja Rubik approach and [again] take the politics to the people. Anja Rubik is the ace at showing us how to achieve this goal.

Over the years, AOC has grown such enormous respect for Anja and the heights she will climb to consistently promote among all peoples — but most definitely among cis women — a positive approach to their sexuality. And she uses her own body to get the message across.
