Wasson and her French, Marseille-native, lifelong restaurateur husband Barth Tassy married in Austin, Texas in 2018.

After spending over two years in Marseille, the couple opened Cécile Food Club, a café that fills an unmet need for people hanging out on Marseille’s Malmousque coastline.

The eatery, inspired by Tassy’s late grandmother Cécile, also honors Wasson’s own vegan diet.
