For Democrats, the Gloves Are Off

Debating Republicans is no longer possible, and Democrats are more inclined than ever to take the gloves off and fight — not literally, but with a much more assertive attitude.

Collectively, we detest the lying bravado of Republicans like Trump and GA Congresswoman Marjorie Maylor Greene. We are done with the white supremacists, and talk of saving America with minority rule.

In an astounding moment in Manhattan Tuesday, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was run out of lower Manhattan by none other than Congressman Jamaal Bowman, a former school principal who is deeply committed to young people.

It’s not pretty to watch, but AOC applauds Congressman Bowman for his contained confrontation and honesty with Greene.

Every word he said to MTG is true, and she high-tailed it out of Manhattan, didn’t she! The only reason she was in New York City today was to kiss Donald Trump’s butt, as his future vice-presidential running mate.

We are SICK of hate-mongering, white supremacist Republicans running their hate-mongering mouths.

This is not how we want to live, but for Congressman Bowman to give her a reality check is just fine with AOC. Let her spread her hate in Georgia, and the Democrats there will deal with her.

What Congressman Bowman was yelling at Marjorie Taylor Green out loud was what we were all thinking about her. She’s just another white nationalist QAnon leader toting her AR-15.

Democrats Are Inhaling Fierce and Focused Anger at MAGA

It’s increasingly clear that Republican attempts to take full control of women’s bodily autonomy is being met with the most fierce resistance and out-loud verbal pushbacks America has seen in decades.

Collectively, we are ready to add out-of-control guns and the countless murders of America’s children by Republican legislators who refuse any and all forms of gun control as a bookend to our fight to reclaim our rights to body autonomy.

Voting rights are also embedded collectively in a determined drive led by American women of every skin color, young people and their grandparents, too, in our great and diverse America.

As for Tuesday in lower Manhattan, for the first time in his life, Donald Trump was forced to deal with the US justice system in a way that he couldn’t ramrod his way through the proceedings. And Congressman Jamaal Bowman ran MTG out of lower Manhattan and back to Twitter where she belongs. Plus, we won a judicial state supreme court seat in Wisconsin.
