The Tom Ford brand recently announced significant changes in its executive leadership. Guillaume Jesel has been appointed as the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the brand, while Peter Hawkings has been named the Creative Director. These appointments come after the Estée Lauder Companies completed their acquisition of Tom Ford for $2.8 billion.

Guillaume Jesel brings nearly a decade of successful brand leadership experience from his time at Tom Ford Beauty. Under his tenure, the brand spearheaded iconic innovation and strategically expanded its global reach, firmly establishing Tom Ford Beauty as a powerhouse in luxury beauty. In his new role as President and CEO of Tom Ford, Jesel will have oversight across all verticals and set a holistic luxury strategy for the brand.

Peter Hawkings, on the other hand, has been working alongside Tom Ford for nearly twenty-five years. He began his career at Gucci in 1998 under Ford's guidance before joining the Tom Ford brand in 2006. As the new Creative Director, Hawkings will be responsible for upholding the brand's vision and ensuring consistency of creative direction across all fashion categories. He will also usher the Tom Ford brand into its next chapter as the lead designer for the fashion segment and fashion shows.

Both Jesel and Hawkings will work together to ensure a consistent and cohesive image across all products, brand communication, and retail. Their appointments mark a new era for the Tom Ford brand as it continues to grow and evolve under the ownership of The Estée Lauder Companies.

He has already made successful movies, including 2009’s widely-acclaimed A Single Man, which he wrote, produced and directed and Nocturnal Animals, starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, in 2016.
