Louis Vuitton will unveil its largest high jewelry collection to date in Marrakech on July 4. Two-time Oscar winning actor Cate Blanchett will reveal the jewels July 4 in Marrakech, as the newest Louis Vuitton ambassador.

Solve Sundsbo [IG] photographs Blanchett for the ‘Spirit’ collection campaign breaking on Friday in WWD and in The Economist and the Financial Times ‘How to Spend It’ magazine on Saturday. The images were styled by Carine Roitfeld with artistic direction by Baron & Baron.

Earlier in June, Cate Blanchett handed out the LVMH Prize for Young Designers to S.S. Daley, wearing Vuitton at the ceremony in Paris.

“She’s one of a kind. She transcends culture, she transcends times, she transcends trends. Many things have changed, and she’s there, as relevant as ever,” said Michael Burke, chairman and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton, the most brilliant jewel in the LVMH crown.

And her staying power is her character, how she engages, her humanity, her intelligence, the way she relates to people, how she can talk about so many different subjects. She has gravitas,” he added.
