Building on David Sims’ Louis Vuitton Womenswear Fall Winter 2021 campaign images, the world’s most valuable luxury brand shares more snaps of it Louis Vuitton X Fornasetti collab. The surreal classical Roman style of Fornasetti promotes the idea of collecting these pieces. Brilliant!

Founder of the brand, Piero Fornasetti, an artist and designer who combined surrealism with modernism, is succeeded by his son Barnaba Fornasetti as the brand’s artistic director.

“I like the different interpretation,” says Barnaba Fornasetti, guardian of the brand since his father’s death in 1988, says about the Louis Vuitton collab. “Using the past, renovating, interpreting is like the more recent DJs, who use something existing, remix it, and come out with totally original music.” The results, he adds, feel “very, very modern, very futuristic.”
