Precious words come from supermodel, businesswoman, activist Bella Hadid, who covers the April 2024 issue of Vogue Italia — and presumably other April Vogues as well.
In response to the question “How are you?”, asked by interviewer Sofia Viganò, Bella responds:
“Very good: for the first time since I can remember I am clear and present. I have the feeling that, by showing my most authentic self, things and people have aligned with my destiny."
Hadid is styled by Alex Jordan Harrington in inner cleansing-mode clothes, devoid of showstopping jewelry and other beautiful distractions, with Zoe Ghertner behind the lens.
Bella’s Texas State of Mind
With her enduring love of horses and now spending major amount of time in Ft. Worth, Texas with her guy National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Famer Adan Banuelos, Bella should be fronting the Fall 2024 Louis Vuitton Men’s cowboys campaign.

Note from AOC: The Spring Summer 2023 Miu Miu campaign is not for mere mortals. It is for the fashion rebels, “united in their courage and desire to challenge conventions” by wearing Miu Miu. You are now absorbing the meaning of meeting this deadly-serious assembly of warrior-women models and talents who understand that by choosing Miu Miu, the decision has a “deep impact on life, enhancing it more and more.”
Hopefully, their sartorial Miu Miu brand enlightenment can be transferred to us, if only we open our minds to these exceptional fashion prophets.
All bow down now and breathe deeply.
Good goddess, I LOVE Miuccia Prada. Lips zipped, because I am not worthy to speak of this campaign’s brilliance. Not one more word. xxxx ~ Anne

Gabriela Hearst — unlike McCartney — is committed to using leather in her clothes because her supplier is credentialed by the EU and the leather is sourced from meat industry by-products.
Chloé used only recycled cashmere in her knitted sweaters and skirts. The barren ground on which the models are standing in these images is referencing this concept of overgrazing and a total depletion of the soil.

Chloé presents Fast Girl, a limited edition capsule collection inspired by daring femininity and pioneering women race car drivers.
Creative director Gabriela Hearst narrates the new collection’s pedigree. “Fast Girl is about a female character that moves very fast both in the digital and the physical world. But she does it with precision. That’s the sign of a master. Fast and exact.”
With the introduction of Chloé Craft, the Maison increases the number of its products handcrafted by independent artisans. Environmentally-speaking, 58% of the collection in now made from lower-impact materials. Employing several collaborations with social enterprises, the “love” that Gabriela Hearst brings to the newly certified B-corp brand “encompasses both people and the planet”. Quote marks signify the brand’s own verbiage, not AOC’s.
