Adriana Lima Covers Vogue Espana November 2024, Imaged by Dan Jackson
/AOC’s top model archives belong to Adriana Lima. Perhaps it helps to be an ‘A’-name and not an ‘M’, but even after factoring in that variable, Adriana still leads the pack.
Fresh off her runway walk at this week’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show, Adriana covers the November 2024 issue of Vogue Espana [IG], wearing Dior on both covers. Photographer Dan Jackson [IG] photographs Lima styled by Jorden Bickham in Alaïa, Dries Van Noten, Duran Latnik, JW Anderson, Luu Dan, Prada, Skims, The Row, Yohji Yamamoto vintage and more. / Makeup by Frank B; hair by Tomo Jidai
Vogue Espana notes that Adriana’s first cover story for the title happened in June 2010, so off we trekked to Renew that long-ago AOC post by Vincent Peters.

In her interview with Alexandra Lores, posted on Vogue Espana’s website, the convo moves to what was to downright cruel comments made to Lima, post-baby Cyan, birthed with partner Andre Lemmers in 2022.
The mother of two daughters and one son was a bit stunned by the depth of vitriol against her body [Note, AOC read the comments back then, and it was tough to remain a feminist in the moment, with so many women being absolutely vicious towards Adriana.]
Very health conscious for decades, Adriana wages war on needless deterioration of her healthy body, with the toughest workout at Dogpound. A client for years, Lima’s now an investor and global ambassador for Dogpound. Adriana reminds her haters that she’s got great genes and a 105-year-old grandmother. AOC notes that no one is throwing shade at the former VS Angel today.
Adriana has been devoted to boxing for years, with several of her fashion stories organized around the sport. AOC isn’t surprised by the health benefits of boxing, but they are actually extraordinary beyond our knowledge. Read our deep dive into boxing in Body.
