EYE: Grace Elizabeth Soars In Major Model Success With Estée Lauder & VS Pink Backing

Estée Lauder’s new face, Florida-raised Grace Elizabeth (Cabe) celebrates the holidays in the brand’s  ‘Beautiful Belle’ fragrance shoot and Lauder’s ‘Pure Color Desire Rouge Excess’ creme lipstick.

W Magazine profiled Grace Elizabeth in September, in advance of another walk on the Victoria’s Secret runway, now in countdown mode. The brand may be struggling with multiple challenges, but in the world of models — these girls love Victoria’s Secret. Read more after Grace Elizabeth’s Estée Lauder beauty images.

Grace Elizabeth on her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

"When I was seventeen, and first walked into Next Models and they asked me what was my goal, I said, ‘I want to be a Victoria’s Secret Angel.’ Adriana Lima talked to me before the first VS show and said, ‘You’re not alone. Take every step and second of it to your heart and feel powerful and embrace it. You’re never going to forget your first show.’” Lima was right, for better or worse. “The first people I saw when I walked out were my parents, which I was not expecting to,” she said. “It almost stopped me dead in my tracks. I was like, ‘Hi, Dad.’ But it’s been one of the most empowering experiences to be around all of these girls and we’ve really bonded.”

Grace Elizabeth on social media

She takes being a face of Estée Lauder and Victoria’s Secret Pink very seriously.

“When I first started, I had like a 100 followers, and it was like the kids I went to school with,” she continued. “My mom wouldn’t even let me have Facebook until I was 15, so social media was something that was new to me. Victoria’s Secret really helped me a lot; I think I got 50,000 followers in one day. Speaking with your followers and communicating with them, I feel like it is important to interact so they feel that you are connected. It gives you such a platform to speak your beliefs and things you want to speak to other people.”

Grace Elizabeth on not taking herself too seriously, with help from friends and family

“They are very supportive, and they don’t quite get it, but I’m still the same person when I started and my personality hasn’t changed much,” she said. “When I go home, my grandma puts me to work. She’s like, ‘Can you change my curtain rod?’ They call me Miss Hollywood every now and then, but they treat me the same.”

Tallahassee Shooter Of Six Women, Killing Two, Had History of Incel Ideology & Misogyny

Tallahassee Shooter Of Six Women, Killing Two, Had History of Incel Ideology & Misogyny

While Trump tries to scare the hell out of women over immigrants, he doesn't mention the white dude firing on six women -- killing Dr. Nancy Van Vessem, 61, who worked at Florida State University’s College of Medicine, and FSU student Maura Binkley, 21. -- in a yoga studio in Tallahassee on Friday.

NY Mag writes that the assassin -- who killed himself -- left a digital footprint of right-wing extremism and references to the anti-women 'incel ideology'. There is a strong probability that this unreported attack due to Tues. elections is the fourth attack by a right-wing extremist in the US in less than 2 weeks.

Facts-driven people know that right-wing extremism is a far greater threat to women than refugees. The Friday shooter Scott Paul Beierle, 40, shot one of the women six times. The Florida graduate and military veteran has a history of harassing young women, including two arrests for groping in 2012 and 2016.

Buzzfeed  News characterized the shooter as “a far-right extremist and self-proclaimed misogynist who railed against women, black people, and immigrants in a series of online videos and songs”:

In 2014, Beierle filmed several videos of himself in a You Tube channel, offering extremely racist and misogynistic opinions, in which he called women “sluts” and “whores,” and lamented “the collective treachery” of girls he had went to high school with.”

Jennifer Lopez Lights A Sexy Torch In Valentino Haute Couture For InStyle Magazine December 2018

Superstar Jennifer Lopez has scored another knockout in green, getting maximum internet exposure in a sequin Valentino Haute Couture cape and nothing more for the December 2018 issue of InStyle Magazine. Well, okay, Jenny from the block is wearing a few diamonds.

In her interview with Christopher Bagley, Lopez speaks about her own body image and her positive influence on culture’s embrace of curvier figures. "In my family, curves were glorified and part of the culture," Jennifer tells Bagley. "It was just like, 'Jennifer has a big butt, and it's good.'"

In summing up her style, Lopez says “I always like to mix the glam with a bit of the hood.”

Speaking of the hood, the New York native says: ““If I didn’t have certain ambitions, I might have gotten married after high school and had kids and decided to get a job at a bank in Castle Hill, like my aunt did. It’s just that I had dreams and ideas that were different.”

Top model and Norwegian beauty Frida Aasen is styled by Renata Correa in ‘Sixties-Inspired Screen Tests’, lensed by Mariana Maltoni for CR Fashion Book Online November 2018./ Hair by Lucas Wilson; makeup by Grace Ahn

Featuring Frida’s editorial, CR Fashion Book writes: “or as long as there has been the screen, there have been screen tests, and surely there are none more glamorous than those of the 1960s. Audrey Hepburn's vivacious performance famously cast her in Roman Holiday(and even made its way into the original theatrical trailer for the film), while Andy Warhol's series thrusted a crew of downtown unknowns into the limelight.” Note that Frida Aasen is not a VS Angel, as stated. She has walked past VS Fashion Shows and is in the 2018 lineup.
