Koj was born in war-torn South Sudan, spent four years in Egypt, and then migrated to Australia with her family at age seven. WhoWhatWear writes that Koj was the first African model to open a fashion show in Australia: the Georgia Alice show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2016.
