Saskia de Brauw & Yohji Yamamoto by Paolo Roversi for Interview Magazine May 2013

“Athleticism is rarely a quality praised, or even acknowledged in fashion, ” writes German film director, playwright, author, photographer and film producer Wim Wenders in his Yohji Yamamoto interview for Interview Magazine’s May issue. Muscles are so not desirable and especially in women.

Athleticism is the core of the Japanese designer’s fashion vision, along with “flirtations in sexuality and androgyny.” Karl Templer chooses from these themes in styling model Saskia de Brauw for Paolo Roversi’s images of the intellectual duo.
