Krista Smith enjoys roast chicken Chez Jennifer Lawrence, interviewing for Vanity Fair the world's highest-paid female actor about her upcoming role as a Russian prima ballerina turned Soviet operative Dominika Egorova in 'Red Sparrow'. Lawrence protested vociferously about doing her nude scene, arguing that she has never recovered from the 2014 Internet theft of nude photos intended for her then boyfriend Nicholas Hoult. (Note that the man responsible for the crime was prosecuted and sentenced to 18 mos in prison.)
Lawrence finally conceded that the nude scene in 'Red Sparrow' was essential to the film's plot line, and ultimately her decision was empowering in her words, thanks to her long-time friend, the film's director France Lawrence (no relation). Basically Lawrence looked Lawrence in the eye as the scene was being filmed -- not in the t-ts (my word).
The Smith-Lawrence convo got extra interesting once the topic turned to politics.
“I’ve always thought that it was a good idea to stay out of politics,” says Lawrence. “Twenty-five percent of America identifies as liberal and I need more than 25 percent of America to go see my movies. It’s not wise, career-speaking, to talk about politics. When Donald Trump got sworn into office, that fucking changed.”

Born in London, Markn began making images at the Rudolf Steiner School which was soon followed by a degree at the University of Arts. During this period he freelance assisted the fashion photographers Steven Klein in New York City and Solve Sundsbo and Liz Collins in London.
In 2013 Markn became Nick Knight’s 1st assistant and was heavily involved with Knight’s fashion film site SHOWstudio. Alongside Knight, Markn worked on several projects for clients such as Bjork, Kanye West, Tom Ford, Comme Des Garcons, Beats by Dre, Kate Moss for Topshop, Alyx, Uniqlo, Nike, Gareth Pugh, Diesel, Swarovski, Shiseido, Garage, 10, AnOther, W Magazine and V Magazines amongst others.
After assisting Nick Knight for 3 years, in 2016 Markn left to pursue his own career.
Markn is currently working on several on going stills and moving image documentary/fashion series.

Rising model Kaia Gerber was joined by the Hadid sisters, Duckie Thot and Aiden Curtiss in a girl squad that channeled Jacqueline Onassis at Milan Fashion Week's Moschino show. The Jackie O treatment included prim, sherbet-colors skirtsuits with matching pillbox hats. But it's the curvy bobs that stole the show.
Vogue writes that hairstylist Paul Hanlon and his team took days preparing the Jackie bob wigs, color-matching them to each model's natural hair color, then sculpting them into curvy, sky-high bouffants, before freezing them with copious amounts of L'Oreal's Elnett Satin Hairspray. "They're a bit Jetson-like with the flicks at the ends," said an amused Hanlon backstage.
The finished effect was a Kaia Gerber who bore a striking resemblance to Onassis. See all the outfits.
